In late June 2005, a secret mission is assigned to the four U.S Navy SEALs which they have to perform on the mountainous border of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

They have a report that notorious al Qaeda leader is coming there for a meeting of suicide bombing. This al Qaeda leader is very destructive and their mission is to finish him tonight. Marcus Luttrell led the other officers of the navy seal and they are on their way to kill the commander. They face a very tough time there and three of soldiers died and Marcus left all alone. The Taliban were ready to cope with them they knew that American soldiers are coming. Marcus was also badly injured when a grenade blast near him. He was the only survivor of the operation Redwing.

The remaining of the three hi-fi soldiers die in less than twenty-four hours and the stats of Marcus survival are also minimum. He spends the next four days injured and alone in the mountains. Marcus Luttrell kills six of the al Qaeda’s member who was following him after being injured. He crawled almost seven miles and then he gets the help of the Pashtun tribe who saved him.
