Holling and Mrs. Baker are the prominent characters of the story. Holling is the son of a rich father who owns millions of dollar businesses in the city. His father has influence in the country and he wants Holling to be perfect. Holling is 14 years old who is studying in the 7^th grade. The expectations from him were always high from childhood. Holling tries his best to meet the expectation of his family but still, he needs to do a lot.

His father hires a teacher for Holling in the afternoon for his grooming. Mrs. Baker is her teacher but in reality, she does not like him as a student. She wanted to talk about it but then something stopping her from doing it. The only thing his father wants to make Holling and his sister best in their behaviors. Mrs. Baker has an entire volume of William Shakespeare. What happened that changed the life of Holling and the people around him.
