James Patterson lives in Florida whereas JD Baker lives in Hampshire with his daughter and wife. Michael and Megan are two adopted siblings and Michael is a truck driver and Megan is a Psychology student their parents are also psychologists. Michael was found accused of the murder of a lady who was found dead in his bathtub.

Gimble and Dobb’s were investigating this case when they found Michael suspected they arrest him. Megan was very close to Michael and tells her the whole story and Megan knows that Michael is innocent and is trying his best to prove him innocent. But unfortunately, he is arrested and when they arrest Michael there is another murder, and after this one after others continued from California to New York. In short, this is an interesting thriller with many turns and twists, during reading the whole novel at one time I think about one person that he might be a murderer but next minute perspective changes, and at the end, I found that I was wrong all times.
