The “Gun Island: A Novel” is a best-selling novel about family and heritage. The author of this best-selling novel is Amitav Ghosh. Amitav is the author of the best-selling Ibis trilogy which includes Sea of Poppies, River of Smoke and Flood of Fire, all published by FSG. He writes many other novels such as The Circle of Reason, which won the Prix Medicis estranger and the Glass Palace.
