In this informative book, Feynman drew from slices of his life experiences. He delights with life shines through everything and nothing gets him down. This book is divided into five parts corresponding to different parts of the Feynman life. The stories themselves are rarely more than half a dozen pages long, and none depend on the others.

The last chapter of this book has an entire philosophy and ethos of scientific thought and rolled into a few pages. Additionally, Feynman shares his experience trading ideas on atomic physics with Einstein. It is one of those books one could pick up when you have just a few minutes. Furthermore, Feynman writes about that in silent fashion, his deep love for her and sorrow for the loss comes through. All in all, Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman is a great biography book.
