She earned her bachelor’s degree in Creative writing. She still lives in Tacoma with her husband. In this Cinder book, Marisa talks about human crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. Cinder is a second class citizen which have a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness.

After sometimes when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome man whose name is Kai’s. Then she suddenly finds herself at the centre of an intergalactic fight. She is in critical condition so she decided to uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future. Cinder has a conversation with a Lunar spy who opens up and tells her everything. The plot becomes increasingly predictable. When the Marissa big secret from Cinder’s past is finally revealed, it isn’t much of a surprise. It also would be liked to know why one of Cinder’s stepsisters hated her while the other loved her. Those dynamics are never explained. All in all, Cinder Marissa writes books for teens.
