One day, Firedrake’s friend Rat warn all the dragons that humans are thinking to attack their valley and they have to find a safe place as soon as possible.

An old dragon tells about a safe place, Slatebeard and it’s the only safe place for the dragons. No one was ready to search this new place except Firedrake and his best friend Sorrel. They both grow up together and decided to go on the journey. Firedrake and Sorrel were looking for a map to find the exact place and here they got the help of an eleven-year-old child. They got the map but did not know how to read it. Firedrake decided to take Ben along him so he could help them in finding the exact spot. What happened, when they entered into a place which was not meant for dragons and now the faith of the dragons lies in the hands of Firedrake, Sorrel, and Ben?
