Details About Lost Child

About the Author

I’m Danica and I write under the name D. S. Butler. I’m probably best known for my Karen Hart series of police procedural novels, set in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire.

My other detective series features the well-loved character of DS Jack Mackinnon, which was first released in 2012. I’ve also written two psychological thrillers: Lost Child and Her Missing Daughter. Lost Child hit the top 10 in both the UK and US Amazon Kindle stores.

My books have now sold well over a million copies, and I’m incredibly grateful to every reader who supported me along the way.

Before making the decision to write full-time, I was a research scientist in the Chemistry department at Oxford University, and also spent time living in the Middle East with my husband.
