He is also known as Robert Beck and born in 1918 in Chicago. Iceberg begins writing after leaving his job as a pimp. He writes six books and all of them are open about society, sex and rude. Iceberg has nothing to eat in his late teenage days and he starts working as a pimp in the streets of Chicago. Iceberg Slim got the jail many times after caught by the police.

After having various stints he decided to give up and start something new in his life. He describes everything is details that how it looks like to be a pimp and how much it’s difficult to become pimp. Iceberg also writes the content on racist and the difficulties black people face in America. He writes each and everything very clearly by remembering those days when a white America commit some sin or do evil in the society. There are no hard rules to punish them except warning and when the same thing is done by black American they got real punishment and set as an example for others. Black peoples are not only victimized by police, but they also are helpless in every government institute, discourage as human beings, work as labour in minimum prices. Each and everything is happening against them before the Civil Rights moment.
