Terry grew up in the northern suburbs of Seattle, Washington. He attended the University of Washington, where he received his BA in creative writing. He holds has an MS in applied psychology and an MFA in creative writing, from Eastern Washington University. In this novel, Terry Trueman describes a Shawn McDaniel, who is in the wheelchair, and unable to willingly move a muscle. He is cute but can’t even move his eyes.

His father is worried about his health. Shawn thinks his father is going to kill him. Because something goes wrong, the doctor can’t find out the solution, behind his illness. Shawn is unable to communicate his true feeling to his father and his life is in danger to live a more life with this serious condition.
