Thad Beaumont has the dependent twin when he was just twelve years old boy. In his early age, he lifts the stairs of success and become the blockbuster writer on the critical literature. There is another best writer of crime writing and his name is George Stark. He starts blackmailing him and Thad decided to kill him by his self. Thad got the support of his wife as well and they both are ready for this. Before they kill the George, he commits a suicide and kills himself.

All the fingers start pointing towards the Thad due to their fighting. Thad has to prove himself innocent in front of other society. All the clues and traces point out at him and he is still saying I have done nothing to murder the George. There is another interesting character Alan Pangborn, who is an expert in his job and being busy in his work beside to involve in some crazy stuff. What happened to the case and the monsters which come to his house in the dark?
