When he was seven he realised that he was an addict.

When he was eight he kicked that habit all on his own by refusing to take more drugs when his mother tried to give it to him. Aisling and Sam met on a carnival ride and she saw him killing someone. She has been panting after him for over a decade and She met him again a year later with her family. In the years she was in medical school, she saw him often at gatherings but rarely spoke to him.
