Lina spends her days as the perfect noble lady and her nights robbing the type of men her father demands she wed. She wants gold to bribe her way onto a ship and flee her gilded cage.

Zavi is cursed. To regain his wiped memories, the Fae pirate must sneak into a nobleman’s ship and find a magic object. If he fails, he will never know what happened to his brother.

Lina and Zavi could attempt the heist—to cure him and free her—only if he can convince her he isn’t the villain in this story.

Neither of them know the secret that will turn everything upside down…

With a morally gray hero loosely inspired by The Princess Bride, this standalone romantasy will delight readers who love the whimsy of Holly Black, the worlds of Sarah J. Maas, and the fun of Pirates of the Carribean.

About the Author

There are so many! I love Tamora Pierce, Leigh Bardugo, Sabaa Tahir, Kristin Cashore, Mercedes Lackey, Juliet Marillier, Deborah Harkness, Diana Gabaldon, JRR Tolkien, Maggie Stiefvater, Cassandra Clare, George RR Martin (but I could do without some of the roughest parts), and Sarah J Maas.

What has helped you so far on your journey as an author?

I joined my local RWA and SCBWI groups and met friends that have taught me, laughed with me, and cried with me. You really can’t do this job alone. Not if you want to remain sane. Also, my husband and family are super supportive. It takes a long time to develop writing skills and they had my back the entire time. My husband has the patience of a saint. Seriously, I might put him up for that.
