Suzanne Young is the author of this tremendous novel. Sloane and James are the prominent characters of the story. Sloane is a 15-year-old young girl who is in high school. She is a beautiful young girl who is facing many issues in her life. A few years ago her sister suicide and left her family in a miserable condition. She is the only child that her parent has. Her sister died due to depression and suicidal thoughts.

There is a program that takes kids from parents and removes all the depression from their minds. Whoever goes to the program that comes with a clean mind and there will no memories of the past in mind. Sloane is also suffering from depression but she is not telling to anybody. She knows that her parents will do anything to save her life. Sloane will not join this program so she decided to fight with her depression on her own. James is the guy she loves. He is the only guy whom she trusts. They both are fighting with the same depression and their situation is getting worse with the time.
