Stung Meanchey is the biggest municipal waste dump in entire Cambodia. Ki Lim and Sand Ly are husband and wife who are living over the waste dump. Ki Lim is the picker of the filthy trash so they can earn enough money to buy food. His wife is very cooperative and she is also the mother of his son Nisay. They both never complained about anything in their life and they only care for their toddler son.

Nisay is just one-year-old and he is suffering from a rear disease. They are trying their best to provide proper treatment to their son but doctors are unable to remedy. There is no such cure for this young lad and he will die any day. It was the moment when their life is torn apart and for the very first time in their life, they become angry and sad about their poor background. There is a woman, Sopeap Sin who come daily to collect the rent. She is a sloppy, loud, drunk and crud woman but Sopeap has something to give this couple.
