Up From Slavery is the history, biography and African-American book which tells the story of a most influential spokesman for Africans. Booker T. Washington is the author of this magnificent book. He was born and raised in Virginia with his other siblings. Booker born in a slave family and his father works on the farms of the white people. He was just six when he began to help his parents on the farms. Booker wanted to join the school but his parents did not take an interest in his studies. He barely got permission to get admission in the school at the age of eight.

Booker travels miles away from his home to reach the school and then his way back. There are only a few African students in the class but Booker is prominent among all. After passing his high school, Booker was ready to speak for the right of black community living in America. He was torn apart after seeing that no African-American was in the government seat and White supremacy is taking over the whole America. There are millions of African-American who are standing behind him and supporting his cause. He did everything that is meant to be done for the rights of the black people.
