Paulo Coelho is the author of this fantastic book. It’s a spiritual story of a young boy who was sitting on a bench on the island. He met with an old lady out who told him an ancient story about the island. She tells there was once a temple at the end of the river but due to the earthquake, this temple went down to earth. This temple is still under the river and she hears the bells of times daily.

The boy becomes very excited to hear the story and now he is also interested to hear these voices. He told the whole story to his friends and they make fun of him. The boy sits the whole day near the sea but he still not hear anything. He loses his interest from school and thinking to sit whole near the river to hear the voices. One day, he met with a fisherman who tells him that only fisherman can hear those voices. Now, he decided to become a fisherman because he hears nothing over the time span of six months. The boy used to of the voices of seagulls and now he needs to spend six more months as a fisherman to hear the bells of the temple. What will happen after sixth months and what is the moral of the story?
