Another Life Altogether by Elaine Beale is fiction and mystery novel which plots the story of a family who is traveling to find happiness. Elaine Beale is the author of this classy novel. She is very impressive writer and Elaine got the degree in creative writing from University of British Columbia. There is a small family living in somewhere in England. 13-year-old girl Jesse Bennett and her parents. Unfortunately, her mother is suffering from mental disease. She is also not safe from her mother due to illness. Jesse father thinks to move out of this place will be helpful for the betterment of his wife. They move to a rural area in northern England.

The things become worse when her mother tries to commit suicide. This is really heartbroken for a thirteen-year-old girl. After this incident, she decided to move out and start her life new. Fortunately, she is befriended by Tracey and one other girl. They both are very sharp, intelligent and strict in the whole school. Bennett knows and believes in his abilities and there some of the revelations she is hiding in herself. Her mother condition is not going well which makes her sad internally. She is there to find happiness for the family she cares about. Jesse tries everything and becomes successful at the end.
