Savanna Ganucheau is the illustrator of the novel. Ari and Hector are the impressive characters of the story. Ari is a sixteen-year-old guy who recently graduated from high school. He was a member of an ultra-hip band and his life was quite exciting during school. Ari wanted to move into a big city for higher education but the resources are low. He does not want to sit with his dad at their bakery shop.

Ari has other plans for himself but his dad is not agreed. He thinks that sitting at the shop is just a time waste and he will not do it. Ari hates the smell of hot ovens and now is the time to take a stand. He asks his father that he wanted to follow his own goals. Ari’s father agreed and they chose another teenage boy to work at the bakery. Hector is the cool guy and he is waiting to get a job at the bakery. He loves this job as Ari hates it. Ari and Hector form a friendship and this friendship might change Ari’s life.
