James Joyce is the author of this impressive novel. Leopold Bloom is the main protagonist in the novel. In 1904, Dublin, Bloom is a middle age Jewish man who has a strong belief in God. He has a strong character who never let him hurt anyone. Bloom was working in an advertisement job and traveling in the city was part of his daily job.

He was not enjoying his job but there is no other opportunity for him. His wife is a singer and Bloom discover that Molly has a secret love affair with her co-worker. At first, he can’t believe that his wife can cheat on him but then he had clear information. His wife’s intention is to bring Boylan home and have sex in the afternoon when Bloom will on the job. They both have a daughter Milly who is almost fifteen-year-old. She is studying photography and obsessed with her passion.

They also have a son who unfortunately died at a very young age. Bloom misses his son and father who killed himself a few months ago. His life is full of worries and yet worse to come. This is a heartbreaking story of Bloom who does not know what to do with his life.
